Membership

At a church, the difference between “attenders” and “members” can be summed up by one word:

Commitment

Membership is a commitment to building and serving in a local church.

Members have affirmed their alignment with the ICC Statement of Faith and participate within the church community.

This is a model based on practices we find in the Bible. In addition to encouraging spiritual growth, membership also tells church leadership who can be counted upon.

We are currently revising our membership process with input from our elders. This new approach will feature an engaging membership class where we’ll explore the core beliefs of Island Community Church.
